I picked up a nice yard trailer for hauling wood and such with the ATV/ tractor.

$50 for a nice clean used agrifab, with dump bed and wider tires. Screenshot_2019-05-05-21-09-13~2.png

This was in my town, on Facebook marketplace.
I've missed out on so many, but not as nice as this one.

I'll probably use it to haul some gravel that I'll need for leveling out the ground for the 30' shed.

I hope they feel the same way about me when I go back to work this morning. It has been almost a week. Still a little stuffy in the head but I feel so much better. campinspecter is still dealing with a cough and general yuckiness of being ill.

    Happy Monday everyone.

I have the same one. Mine is black and beat to heck. And tires filled with slime cause you can almost see the air in them.

Any clever & cheap ideas for "drawers" for this shelf? Last of the pieces and parts from the bedroom/laundry shelving project, lol you can tell, some chrome legs and some white ones. It's next to my desk so besides a vertical file holder (I think the one from our old house made the move here, need to do some searching), I need some drawers for desk things and other items used frequently including kiddos brush and de-tangling spray. Here I tried some toy sorter buckets and fabric bins (upper right). Neither of them are doing the trick. Thought I'd ask :)

Tighten up the spaces between some shelves or add some more shelves and stick with totes...
    Just my 2¢.

Spent a lot of time on the computer today. Needed some time off for sure. The gtg really tuckered me out this year and it seemed that I did not do as much. Maybe age is catching up to me. Don't know. Sure had a good time. Made some new friends too. Tomorrow the work starts again if the rain holds off. Only got a sprinkle today and hoping that is the most we'll get this week. It needs to dry so farmers can work the fields.

Got a lot of outdoor work done at the cottage this past weekend. Two utv loads of firewood-which = not much, but its a start! Along with yardwork and managed to squeeze in a ride out in the woods with the utv.

The last time I was on some of the "roads" was in the 80's..... So, we ended up driving through the bottom of one active beaver pond (lots of mud but made it) and tried going through another beaver pond but was too concerned about the channels they dig, so we backed out.

Got nailed by my first mosquito also..... :picard:

Back from Nebraska, quite the ordeal.
My Father, 84 yrs. old, thinks every odd chunk of "whatever" needed to travel to his new residence in Calif. We have 2 weeks before he hands over the keys, so I had to put my foot down.
I won't go into details, but I was in "brutal/realist mode" while out there. So, we made progress. He was pizzed for a bit but he's coming around. Good thing he didn't check the interior of my truck before I left today, he just helped load the bed.
2 weeks.... 2 weeks.... I head back in 2 weeks to finalize this stuff. He'll drive to my place then I'll drive him and a U-Haul to Calif. The beginning of June is looking so, so wonderful right now.

May have to do an overnighter in the hills when I get back, just me and a few beers, nothing else. I'll need the quiet.

Eric VW said it. clear totes with lids. Lids to keep stuff contained and clear so you know what the ! is in them. I really like unclefess's idea as well. I use these kind in my sewing room.

Oh Boy BK, that sounds like a heavy load on your shoulders in more ways than one. Obviously his parents raised him while/after the Great Depression, but that does not apply now these days, tough position for you and a new reality for your father, nice job helping through it :)

Hey how did you get through day? okay? How are you doing and how is campinspecter with that darn virus/flu/whatever awful bug?

I'm leaning towards the drawer units unclefess suggested to corral desk and other small items I use daily.

wildwest , Thanks and yes, it's not fun right now. I'm not unsympathetic bye any means to his situation, his wife of 50+ years hasn't even been dead for a year yet. But the move is imminent and he's not processing the time frame. The worst part is his mind frame of- "Oh, I'll leave that for the new people...". No, they won't want that.
I'll make this work out, but it's not going to be fun. Bear with me when I rant for the next few weeks, thanks. JB

Beetle-Kill I find myself "saving" stuff as your father does sometimes. It wasn't but a 2-3 years ago that 99 pointed out the necessity to get rid of the "junk" (how dare her!) as upon my death, none of the kids would want to or even have the time to go through all of the "junk" and it would get thrown out anyway. I have been better at it.

Next thing is, remember he is your father and sugar will go a lot farther when dealing with him. You sure wouldn't want to blow up about something and have a rift created that would last the rest of his/your life. Once they're gone, you will remember things said out of haste and they will bother you.

Hang in there and be patient. :zip: At 84, he may not quite be the same as you remember him to be. :salute:

You can rant and vent all you want to right here! :handshake:
