It's a debate about buying a higher dollar (maybe better) one or this, I don't see it being used often enough to justifying laying out a lot of money on one. Or what are you using?

Yea it's a non contact one. Cool I have that exact one on my splitter. I wouldn't have to remove clutch cover either to use it.

I have a DTI tiny tach. I like it because I can easily use it on anything, it is wireless. One with a wire would not be as easy to use to quickly check the RPM's of an engine.
I have that one on my wood splitter. It works great and it as accurate as my tiny tach. My only complaint is it goes through a battery about twice a year.
