I hear ya cigarsmokingzombie.Mother nature can put a damper on hoarding...literally! One thing i enjoy about the forum is watching everyone elses hoards come together and their hoarding adventures. Tree is not elm.

 

Ok, here u go. Got a half chord this morning. It was cherry. Huge pieces but my back held up.

Hah, I’m taking a nap now! No splitting. I have to split about 4 chords of oak, maple, mullberry and cherry that I’ve scrounged in the past 2 months. My wife reminds me daily

4 cords! WOW! You know you're getting old when! LOL! I havent reached that point yet, although i joke about it! Going to split some red oak rounds from my score this week. Making room for more. Have a rack behind the shed that holds 1 1/2 cord and just started filling it in. All red oak for it!
Ms. BuZZsaw doesnt remind me, but reminds me i spend too much time making firewood! Its an OCD thing, she doesnt understand!

 

Where in DE are you? Im in MD but DE line is just across field... closest DE town for me would be Harrington. We shop in Dover when we need non grocery items.

 

I’m in Townsend which is about 45 miles from
Harrington. Glad I have another hoarder close by!
