Cleaned both stoves. Doesn't like the stoves will be shutting down permanently any time soon, so couldn't wait for the spring clean.

Road trip done,am back home from sisters, cat happy I am hope. Already ordered an igniter for the P68, having it drop shipped to my sisters. BIL still could not believe how easy the P68 is to clean, after dealing with the first generation St Croix Prescott for many years.Next winter will be much nicer for them. Was 50 in the house,so turned on the Accentra.

Another heater cover put in today. This is the long wall of the living room at 13' long. Used one 6' piece and two 4' pieces so has two splice pieces installed. Wish they made 8' long pieces, but they don't. I'm sure it has to do with maximizing :emptywallet::emptywallet::emptywallet: out of my wallet.

Only have the other wall in the living room to do - then every room will have the new covers installed. Still looking for just 2-3 short pieces of metal drip edge to show up on CL. I have the rest of the parts needed.

For info, talked to a ex stove tech that now works for a major parts supplier today, about the cheap Harman igniters. Harman igniters are again being made in USA, and use incoly. The imported cheaper ones use high heat stainless steel. He said, going by his experience and feedback and returns, the cheaper ones are fine 80% of the time, but in 20% of the applications, they tend to overheat and the stainless steel fails. So,I asked him, if you were replacing one in a family members Harman, which one would you use? He said he would use the factory Harman one. There are your options. The one I shipped to my sister was a Harman one, and,as they have the best price I have found, will be ordering a spare from him/them. Was told it is OK to tell people that they still provide over the phone stove assistance, mostly about the replacement parts, but possibly for minor problems. They will continue to do this as long as it is cost effective. Seems they have surpassed my local parts supplier(stove parts unlimited) and want to keep growing. Yep,that was a plug for a company, sorry. He is Matt, at ESES.
