NICE PICTURE'S Get ready for some warmer weather, supposed to be 87 in the valley, by this coming friday. I called one of the company's that manage the timber where i have my wood permit, asked how the fire season is looking. They told me they don't expect to close the gates before the first of June. But, its drying out fast, although, right now, my weather station shows 70% humidity , and i'm in town. Its frosted about every day here for over a week, but, might not make it today, Saturday.

4 years. Starting to turn bad but salvaging what I can.
Leftover from the previous owner’s logging project. Portable chipper was supposed to be used on them, but it never happened.

We had portable chippers , and truck/trailers come in and take out the whole hill side of ''junk'' wood, then replanted it all with doug fir. It was an amazing thing to watch. Steady stream of chip trucks up and down the hill all day long. Now, its a unit of very healthy timber.
