Been wanting to say hi to you all. Life has had me busy with work and other things. I got a e-mail about a get together but its best if I stay around home. I thank you for asking and it sure would be great to meet ya. :) Have no stacked firewood to show ya and when I do its not going to be pretty..

I may, probably will. But I've got landscape/ yard work to do. Have to do it now, after spending a trucks worth of $ on the house.

I worked on my tractor tonight for a couple hours after 9 hours at work.

    Getting closer.....

I do believe something or someone is sending me a message- I need to find employment on the East side of the Divide. It's been escalating for the past few months, I tell ya'.
Started with CDOT road closures, a little too slick. Then accidents, adverse conditions, and pre-emptive closures. Avalanches followed, covered the highway. Today, another Semi-truck fire, took me 4 hours to go 32 miles (actually 25 miles, I was clear the last 7 miles). SMDH.
    Uugh... :hair:

Haha, don't move to a city! Atlanta won't be too much faster than that.

Not really, unfortunately. Now my ears are ringing and my bones still ache. Thanks for the get well wishes, though.

That's a doozy of a bug. These things are harder to shake as we get older. Did you hear if other reunion attendees got sick too?

I think it must be the flu and I got my shot quite early in Nov. Just heard that the other lady that did a lot of the organizing caught this as well. I think it was just exposure to a lot of out of town bugs. The school has had a lot of absences this last month as well. I had hoped to escape it this year. Starting to feel better but still weak in the knees when I do anything.

Oh I'm sorry, I have no doubt it's the flu, like others here we all had a flu shot in Oct/Nov, only to come down with a different strain the vaccine did not protect against, hit us pretty hard too, even kiddo missed an entire week of school. Here, sending a virtual pot of chicken soup, :stirpot::chef:, fluids, rest, keep track of your fevers :)
