That it was I have... Lux.. got it for the Englander in my shop, on eBay... never hooked it up there,
and I know I never will... so I may just put it in the house.
But TBH... probly won't try it until next season.
Just about done with pellets at this point, unless we get a 'real' cold snap.
    Or just feel like it...
NG is actually cheaper for me this time of year..

What is the desired actual temp?

If the stat is set for 80, yet temp is 69 then the stove will never shut down....until the temp reaches 80. Is the stat connected to the upstairs 43 or the basement 61?

Still using a bit of dino juice here too. The pellet eater does fire now and then as well if we are doing something in the basement

I thought for sure that my last bag of pellets was opened 2 weeks ago during that warm stretch. That was incorrect. I used a full bag last weekend alone

Still burning here, got more white chit yesterday  (April usage, 33bags plus 1 1/2 day of dino juice)
The heat is nowhere to be found and my white mountains are taking forever to disappear :picard:
Going to take a look at a John Deere w/loader, cab & snowblower for the homestead, hope it follows me home
If mother nature won't cooperate, then the mountains will disappear in a flash :D

I think the Lux is set for the temp she wants... and the stove is set for 80.
If the stat is satisfied, then it opens, and the stove shuts down..
At least I think that is what we were talking about...??

Left house during a snow storm, went to butte, the P68,was in pretty good condition, so bought it, loaded it, and kept going north and west, to my sisters,in Kalispell. Next day, got it up on their covered porch area, test fired it with a bag of north idaho pellets that was told were bad, lol, they were very bad, very high moisture, since last conversation, BIL found out the place he got them from had left them outside, totally uncovered, for many months. They refunded his money. Flame could not even get high, even with the feed to max, lol.So cleaned them out, put in good dry pellets, cranked it back to stove mode max, stove ripped into nitro mode, had to set the feed back down to 3.5. Was 48 out, light wind and rain, his old St Croix was running inside to keep house warm, and, with the good pellets, he was 5 feet away from front and had to move, but he loved the heat. I think they will be very happy with it next winter.Ran around yesterday and visited my nephews jobsites, one ones a small body shop, the other is a custom carpenter/contractor. They are doing well, the economy has been good for them, the last year. Today my sister and I went shopping/antiquing,flea marketing, we had a blast.Long ride home tomorrow.Very glad stove functions fine (well,it needs the newer igniter) and looks pretty good. It turned out to be a 2004.

    That is a misconception.

Both stoves are on a thermostat. The P43 was set up that way a couple of years ago and the P61a just recently. Each thermostat is currently set for 69* (my desired house temp).

With the in-line thermostat hookup, you set the stove's temp dial to anything above the set point of the thermostat and its swing (in this case +/- 1*). I could set the stove dial at 73, or 75 or 90 and the house would stay at ~69. Each stove starts up when it is 68*, then shuts down when it hits 70* - according to its individual thermostat air temp sensor (they aren't running together, they each have their own "zone" basically. The stove temp dial does not control the stove. Unless of course you set the stove temp lower than the thermostat temp (but I'm fuzzy on how it would behave then).

During the deep of winter, I want my basement warmer to keep floors to the main floor warm, so I will turn that thermostat up to 73 (or higher). The downstairs "zone" will be ~73* but the upstairs will stay at 69*.
