Nice, Dave. Temps hitting the 50's? I'm trying to remember the "poor man's lobster" for Halibut recipe.

Got 2600 total miles in 2018 (AK & SoCal combined.)
So far, only 250 miles this year, AK weather been cold & wet (rain again today)

New tires on the SoCal bike . Went tubeless & likening them :)
Probably new tires on the AK bike this year, Thinking to ge tubeless here too.

Let me know how you like the tubeless. I've never ran those. Have talked to many that ride them a lot but they are racers; I'm not.

Are you talking glue ups or solid tires?
    What kind?

Like the flat protection of tubeless so far.
Several desert riders claim years with no flats.
Even “ goat head “ protection
    Some specs say better speed,
but I’m too old to notice any of that
    ...
Want more speed, electric assist time.
    Watching the evolution of electrics,
Can see me with one some day
    Several hours of
22 mph & faster uphill

    That looks interesting.
I tried these a few years ago.
    Tires – Tannus

    IMG_3376.JPG

They were nice for the first ~600 miles. As they wore down
they got a sort of flat spot on them. I noticed my avg. speed times
going down. I put about 1200 miles on them and pulled them.
I will stick w/my Continental GatorSkins w/Tuffy liners.
One flat in the last 9k miles.

I hear you about the E-bikes. ....I don't like it .....but I hear you.
