Dennis sent email looking for me ::: "I'm Back in Alaska " Not much going on here. Back from SoCal a couple weeks ago Came back to winter.... to cold to go stack then. LOL Got motivated with the 16 hours of sunshine & 50°. The from rows on every section needed pounded back in 6" or so. Luck only part of one section fell. I think I got every piece back where it was .... ??? PS: " Snow Birding " is all it's cracked up to be
Good to see ya bogydave ! I guess if all the damage an earthquake did was knock some wood over that's not too bad?
thats the tallest stack ive ever seen bogydave I would stand clear of that in an earthquake. Glad you are safe!
Yep I believe I’ve seen them. But bogydave is in Alaska & in my mind that makes everything different/ better. If I was up there and had 2 half rotten splits laying a foot apart on my own place it would be a darn nice pile!
You sure it was an earthquake and not some shifting going on during the thaw? Either way, it was just a little and not a lot!
I'm sorry bogydave . It wasn't an earthquake, it was me. Checking out your stacks and, well, one thing led to another and well, you know.
That is great stacking. Earth Quake got my heart a pumping before I realized that you were talking about the last one. I have s sister in Anchorage. Should of delayed your return to attend his gtg.
Yea, wife was home, Nov 30...7.1 magnitude Pretty big shaker Had some damage in the shop Lots of Stuff on shelves was on the floor Tool box toppled over
Glad to see you back bogydave , I hope the damage in the shop was not too serious. 16 hours of sun, wow!
What bogydave is lucky about is, that the Moose Antlers didn't wrecked. I have one side of Moose Antler I found deer hunting here in NH, you don't find them every day.
So, bogydave how much wood do you figure is in that stack. Is it a 3 year plan? What kind of wood? Spruce? This Alaska dreamer is corious.
If you look at his signature, you can see a few links and information. Here’s one of them.. the 14 times I handle fire wood, tree to ashes bogydave , good to have you back... glad your snowbirding went well!!
