Holy Cow! Running through taxes for guesstimate what we need to do for the IRA's, kind of hard to estimate 2019 since we don't have 2018 yet. Our personal taxes get done in Oct every year, guess the corp tax laws change so drastically every year it takes a few months to know them, and, our taxes are based on the corp taxes.... If I'm understanding it correctly and my guesstimates for 2019 are close, we will come out ahead vs deductions previous years.

Standard deduction married filing jointly = $24000K and child tax credit $2000, and over 7.5% of AGI for medical? Is this correct?

Or is the $24K standard deduction all inclusive of child tax credit and medical? Either way is beneficial but of course I'd like the child and medical on top of the standard.

We are, mostly said and done, 12". Lull, a bit more tonight. Melting fast, ground, grass, seedlings loving it!! :)

Such weird weather here compared to just over the border, there storms of 6-18" were no worries, happened often, here it turns into an ordeal (wind). This is a nice spring storm like I'm used to from my previous life.

Our Iris haven’t even poked out the ground yet. It’s been a cold and rainy spring so far. Dreary and cold again today.

I spent a few hours cleaning out under the front porch. I had about 20 years worth of bark, scrap lumber and whatever fell off the cordwood. I ended up with 3 totes of scraps to burn. It was a dusty, miserable job, but check it off the list of move-out items. Tomorrow afternoon will be cleaning out what is left in the tool shed, which is really nothing.

Sounds right. I am hearing a lot of people are getting less back on taxes. They kept more in take home cause the changes in deductions throughout the year but less returned at the end, which was the goal. But I also am getting about $1000 more back from 2018 than from 2017. And has nothing to do with my income cause it was within a few hundred of the year before so income earned really has little to do with it in this situation. I take standard deduction, so that has everything to do with it.

Long day. Left at 7:30 for visit to neurologist on Syracuse. Turned out good, let Chaz tell you about that. Got home about 5:30.

Took a couple pics. One pic of hills, back of the bus of NY finest, ok the one of Holly, she blends well with the couch so kinds kinda hard to get a pic. But l call it the dead cow. If you look at her front leg it is straight out and a couple of inches up in air.

    Then daffodils.
