Something around 10 cords. The pool is 17'x36' I think. I still have some free space for stacking. After I put a double row all the way along the fenceline (another one and two third cords), I can put some behind the pool. Then I'm pretty much maxed out, unless I want to sacrifice lawn.
I will and thank you. I've even promised Judy that I would; at least through Sunday. I really took it easy today. All I did was take some lime out of the car so she could go to town and believe me, when she goes shopping she needs the room. Then I went visiting with a couple neighbors then took down some trail cameras. End of what I accomplished other than helping her bring in a couple hundred bags of food. At least it seemed like that much...
Not planning much CSS just general cleaning up in the back lot, noodles, splitter trash, bark & a few cottonwood saplings I’ve taken out lately. I will have to get some wood inside, forcast is looking considerably cooler through middle of next week. Oh yeah..... & move some flower planters around to prevent frost on em. Probably lost a 1/3 of the ones we planted on Easter already
Did a great big NOTHING today. Depending on the weather, I will try to get the rest of the monster rounds a few blocks away. I would guess a strong half cord between them.
Had the closest one on the lift, but could not get it rolled into the bed. When turned it was wider than the bed. I will have to take a tape with me and snap a picture. First load below.
nice looking load @OhioStihl Looks like the bark is holding onto that ash. Was it green or dead when cut?
None! Got back late last night from a week long school trip with kids, to Kenai and Homer. We spent 2 days at the Challenger science center, with Mars space flights and 3 days tidepooling and forest ecology on an island an hour boat ride from Homer. Now back to work, EMT recertifications for work.
Took down the leaner that was on my trail. No videos, but she was a bit nerve racking. Once the cut opened a little, I let gravity do the rest. Used the winch to block it to the ground
