    Nice day for cutting wood. A good breeze keeping things cool and just a couple of little rain showers.
    Wood is a little punky but I split some of the Fir and it isn’t too bad inside.
    Rocked the chain on one saw and had a first when the oil cap came off the other so I went home to sharpen the chains. [​IMG][​IMG][​IMG][​IMG]

    Mostly Fir, Alder and Maple. If I get it split, it’ll be ready to burn this Autumn. This is more out in the open so it gets quite a bit of sun and wind compared to the stuff I’ve been cutting down below. Splitting the stuff below, I would often have water coming out.

    Sun sure makes an enormous difference. Judging by the drone pics in the other thread, you've got a bit more work in the sun! :D

    Looks like it was a beautiful day there to make firewood Reloader . I would be spending more time enjoying the view! Nice country!

    Not many get a view like that! Many of the logs appear to be sized nicely for handling. Looks hard to beat all around.
