Thunderstorms and a lot of rain. The extended forecast shows 11 out of the next 15 days with rain. This has been one gloomy spring so far.

TGIF Hoarders. Working on the last part of the shelving project that went into the bedroom, used pieces and parts to get a laundry shelf/clothes rod back up. I only had to take two apart and add back a rod hanger twice   Tomorrow is rescreen patio slider, and install a steel guard, cut kiddo's hair.

Met my mom after work. Helped her out with some signs for the wood lot. Grilled a flank steak that my wife marinated in soy/ Asian marinade. Had that with cous cous and an artichoke. Had a nice rum and coke with dinner too.

I sawed up a couple of "sticks" that will be needed for a fire early tomorrow. We're to get a little rain, then snow. A fire will be nice.

Tomorrow I'll go over to work on my engine swap on the garden tractor. Hopefully I get home before it gets too crappy out. It's a 20 minute drive from my place to my buddy's.

They've cut the forecast down a bit. Was saying 3" of snow tonight but now only 2". My bet is we get a few flurries but that could change... Was a skim of ice in the bird bath this morning. Tomorrow morning it should be solid ice. Yes, fire in the stove here.

I bought a 86 f250 4x4 back in March. I am slowly and as money permits taking care of it's ills..
I'm about to start grinding off a upper shock mount on a new to me truck.
install a new one and new rear shocks, if that all goes well, maybe the front ones next.
Still have my 79 in my avatar.

Hung the hummingbird feeders last night. Had a few Ruby's come in today already. It's a little early for them to be here, nothing is budding or blooming yet.

Rub it in guys. I finally have some greenery coming up that will eventually be hyacinths and daffodils. Although the forsythia is starting to bloom - so that's something.

It was a bit cool this morning with snow showers during the day. Got a fire going this morning and this afternoon it was 80 in the living room. OOPS I am sure the better half will have some windows open tonight.

71 in the house. I have a small fire going.

It snowed here but really didn't accumulate. It's only white on the roof and lawn.

We're were to get 2-3", but now nothing

    Good

It's getting chilly in the house. I'd light a fire if I wasnt so damm tired. Gonna just go climb under the blankets and deal with it in the morning.

Cut a load of EAB killed trees today in the woods on my employers property...probably a 3 acre patch of woods and down Ash trees everywhere. I cut a very full pickup load of 6-12" "telephone poles" and barely made a noticeable dent in what is already down. Then there is a bunch more dead standers too...I bet there is 3-4, maybe 5 cords there.
This load is going to my in-laws...most of what I cut today will easily be ready to burn next winter.
It was dark and raining by the time I finished, so no pics of the score...yet.
