    With that many rat snakes and maybe king snakes, they will help control the venomous snake population.

    Only thing that bothers me about snakes is when they startle you by moving suddenly. We have garter snakes most commonly, but I have seen milk snakes and black racers once in a while. Used to kill snakes as a kid but have learned not to, we let them be. I might take exception to a copperhead or timber rattler on my property though.
