As Cleveland's hysteria/anger over the Manziel pick begins to die down, we head into the next rounds. We need to address that right side of the OL, and we need a good receiver for a #2 guy who can take over for Gordon if he screws up again. Maybe take an ILB too.

Holy chit, they are reporting on that live broadcast that there MAY BE AN ISSUE WITH GORDON AGAIN, unofficial report that he failed another test and could be out the whole year. Brown's knew about this for a week or two now!!!!!

    :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

Edit: Yup, SI and ESPN reporting on it too now. Failed a pot test, got a notification in April, will face a possible year suspension................................ Gee, got a feeling it just might be WR next!

Well its over at last! We took Terrance West, RB, and Pierre Desir, CB. Our last #7 pick we traded off for a #6 next year.

Bottom line is we turned 10 picks into 6 players moving up a few times, gained Buffalo's #1 & #4 next year moving down, and the extra #6 for next year too. Added 2 CB, QB, OL, ILB, RB.

The QB situation was clarified quickly. We released Vince Young and Alex Tanney. Signed an undrafted guy Connor Shaw, the 18th ranked QB, was projected for the 7th round. By not using our 7th on him, and trading it up to a next years #6, we get him for free . Practice squad guy.

That leaves us with a probable starting day order of Hoyer, Manziel, Thigpen, and Shaw to the practice squad.

We took 4 undrafted free agent WR too. One of them was projected to go in the 6th round but didn't. He has the 2nd fastest WR combine time of 4.34 sec.

Well, those big bad Bills earned a big win over the Browns 2 weeks ago. Hoyer was so bad they plugged Johnny in at the end of the game for some "garbage time experience". The real test starts tomorrow against Cincinnati, for good or for bad, whether you like him or not, its Johnny Manziel time in the NFL. Is he going to be a bust, or the next Fran Tarkenton? Of course Fran was 6' ................... Johnny "Munchkin" Manziel is only 5' 11 3/4" ................  GO BROWNS !!!!! :drunk:

Miles was a great pick up. Too bad the quarterback situation has never been resolved.

Colt McCoy! Oh yea, his name is near the bottom of that famous "browns QBs since 1999" Couch jersey on my original post: its been updated now. Someone bought it from that fan and has it in a storefront in Cleveland now!

He sure was, he started out a little slow/quiet, but really came on as the season progressed. To bad those nasty Bills bruised up his kidney so bad!

That trade was with the Rams right? I heard on the news that all 5 or 6 of the Rams Team Captains chosen for the coin toss at the Redskins game last week, were ALL of the players they got from the RGIII trade (they traded some picks for more picks). And he was on the sideline watching..........

I think so. I really like him at first, but this season he really took a nose dive. It seems like he just doesn't get along with anyone in the program. He'll be gone next season

Browns treat Coaches & QBs like your socks, change them daily.
Owners need to give the team some time to become a team.
No one person is going to magically win the Super Bowl .
