The wife bought grass seed to fill in a bare spot on the lawn. So, when I got home I had to bring out all of the hoses to reach that spot with the sprinkler, then spread the seed and watered it.

I don't even have the tractor fixed yet and I'm making more work for myself. :loco:
Going to work on the tractor tomorrow after work for a couple of hours. Saturday hopefully we can get it running with the engine swap.

For what it’s worth American Funds is legit. I have both my kids’ 529 plans with them and my dad has his retirement there too. They have been around forever. Just Google financial advisors “near me”.

I finally pushed my mower out front and brought it inside. Pulled the valve cover off and found that the rocker arm had loosened up and rotated off the pushrod. Dodged a bullet on that one. I just need to pick up some feeler gauges to wrap it up.

Cant believe I'm actually fixing the POS that I've been willing to die since I bought the house and it came with it.

So which of the unfortunate hoarders are getting more snow this weekend?

Forecast this morning for Saturday was for anything between a trace up to 4 inches on the grassy surfaces

Who knows? It's supposed to start as rain here, but then change to all snow in the early afternoon. I don't expect it to stick.

We had frost this morning but no snow in the forecast. If it is dry enough, we will be mowing grass.

Eye doctor appointment this morning. Just an eye exam at regular doctors request. Hopefully won’t need glasses yet. But I can tell it’s getting close. :picard:

Chaz got some of those glass that you see on racks that you see CBS and Walmart. But he does have prescription safety glasses at work.

Vanguard is well known as well. I just opened up a Roth IRA last week. I have a pension, 401k and now the Roth. Essentially, Roth IRA’s are taxed at initial investment, then never again. So if it grows well, you’re saving a solid chunk of change by not being taxed on your profits.

Another benefit of a Roth is NO required minimum distributions at a certain age like there is with a regular IRA.

Eye exam went well. Eyes are healthy but it’s time for some readers/magnifiers. So I picked out a pair of frames and they said they could make them up in an hour. Wow. Fast. Plenty of time to go to Five Guys for lunch! Their burgers and Cajun fries are awesome!

We had one open up in Potsdam, NY in the last year. About 40 minutes from my place. My first time at this one. Delicious!
