We had a hum from one of the blowers in the stove, it was gone initially after installing the new exhaust blower, but soon came back. Turns out the the convection blower was missing a screw, guess it vibrated loose? New screw back in, hum gone.

It was noise, and noise alone. Ran fun, just too loud. As to the firebrick, I would set the stove to room temp. so it can come on hot then shut off. Past two years, that is all I want to use. Really helps keeping the stove clean.

Had two days of it with all my 4 children and their families. Exhausting but well worth it.

So, Easter was just me and my honey as we were waiting on some heavy life chit news coming from Florida.

Asked her if she wanted smashed or tatoes au gratin to go with the ham. She went for the cheesy stuff.

Spent some time outside doing yard work and I got to making the tatos around 4. Into the oven they went around 4:45. to be ready around 6.
My head was elsewhere that day and I forgot I need 2-3 hours to cook the ham

Thought pressure cooker is only 2 minutes per lb

Ham too big for pressure cooker and its now 5:15

Went outside and said Guess What? We're having steak tips and sausages on the grill with the tatoes au gratin :grizz:

Lots of snow, freezing rain, hail, etc, normal Montana spring.Pellet stove chugging along. Have not been able to get much done outside, yet.Such is life in the mountains.Person I have been trying to buy the P68 for my sister, notified me he reduced the price to 1k.Thinking about it,with the long drive time to pick it up,I would really like to see 800.Gonna see if possible to dig out one of my trailers, covered in snow,to go and purchase this unit for my sister, tomorrow.OH,thanks, another year, and nobody congratulated me on living another year,on my birthday.

Oh, the big ham for 2 of us? Got it on sale and wasnt sure what was happening with life stuff looming so I was prepared.

That and I tend to cook heavy on weekend so plenty of leftovers for dinnertime meals through most of the work week.

Overall the ham is still in the fridge to be used on another weekend.........
