1there are puddles of water all over the yard. They will be connecting to each other shortly. Almost all of the snow was gone. So, instead of white outside....its wet outside....and that's all I can see! My temps are the same as they were four hours ago.
Funny we went to brunch yesterday.. Left house beautiful sunny day, 53 degrees. Drove 25 miles south to Burlington it was 73.. That lake at 35 degrees really drop those temps!!! Wife opened windows for fresh air and peepers singing!!
Already sitting at 11 C or 51 f, and looking for 18 c or 64 f for a high, which is a fair step past average. A few colder nights in the forecast, but we're on easy street now.
30's tonight. I'll have snow in the morning. And icy roads for my drive. Probably. The wind that kicked up last night had died down overnight to a breeze today. Just about nothing out there now....that's good!
75 yesterday & 77 today. A little warm for me, but ok. Still 67 right now so no heat obviously. 60's for the rest of the week. May shutdown soon.
We are in a wet pattern, high 50's-low 60's during the day, with frequent showers. My white clover seeds on the front lawn have germinated nicely. They will fill in the bare patches like this: No woodburning here, I get tempted to have a morning fire, but I know I'd regret it come afternoon.
Some rain in the area. Just cloudy here. Will be cooler the rest of the week after that 75 yesterday.
LOL, I used to pay $$$ to rid the lawn of clover, especially when the kids were small and got bee stings from walking around barefoot. Mid fifties and on the second load of pine. No sun so it is a little chilly. The pile of pine rounds I split in January because we were getting low on pine is already half gone. So much for a good supply starting out next year.
Just looked at forecast. Sat night late rain changing to snow. Sunday. Snow likely. Dang, winter wants to not let go yet. And to think, we almost scheduled the gtg for this weekend. Glad we didn't.
Let it get it out of it's system this weekend. Presently 68* and overcast, but predicting rain tonight and tomorrow. .
Now it is time to check that tire pressure. Quite often with that much difference the thing will sometimes go beserk and say one is low.
Yep it's been that way for awhile. It's a work truck and I am not home with my stuff .I will bring my gauge to work and use the air to equal it out. I have to drive to Virginia soon.
Nice surprise this morning....no snow! For that matter, no ice either! Car thermometer read 33 and that was as low as it got.
