    Boy, it doesn't seem that long ago you were bringing them home. How old is the oldest dog you have now? Cricket (black and white) is now 10 yrs. and Shadow will be 8 yrs. the end of May.

    Oliver, the one in my avatar is 9, the others are 8 and 7. About time for another doncha think?...got to keep the rotation going. Oliver really slowed down this winter, I had blood work done at his checkup and his thyroid is low, but not out of the normal range, we started him on a low dose of thyroxine and he has perked up a bit.

    Our vet has me give Holly her tick meds year round. She stated that ticks will actually climb up weeds in winter on sunny days.
