    Oak, I think. Solid, heavy. Probably rolled off a truck making the turn.

    I put it, all of it, on a rack with other oak splits.

    Looks like oak, glad you could handle it, not have to go vertical with the splitter or any drastic measures... Maybe you won't need Advil for the aches and pains...:rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol:

    Perfect for the "Low Impact" hoarder! Top cover that with an old license plate or cast off cake pan and you will have some great seasoned firewood in a few years! Remember to place it on some dunnage!
