The twins were both 10# 8oz! Mom delivered them like a champ. Zero drama.

We got about a 6 foot tall pile (picture does not do justice), and we still have more to do. Too bad you aren't closer. Last year's pile is to the left - nicely composted. Wife loves it for the vegetable garden. 20190407_114432.jpg .

Having our first official sunny and warm day here, finally got the new hydraulic hoses on the bota, removed the chains, and did a quick grade to remove the ruts since the start of mud season. I removed the loader so things would be easier. This loader has stands to keep it in the right position while backing off with the tractor and smooth re-attachment. Naturally, pulling back into the loader didn't go as smoothly as I hoped. I put blocks down for the loader kick stands, but over the hour it took to swap out the hoses they sank just enough to give me a headache. I eventually got hooked back up, so overall, all went well.

    New hoses......

Nice! The work never ends when you have a tractor. Even when the work ends, you look for more! :D

Did my 50hr service this afternoon at 54hrs:emb:
Pretty simple with the shop vac on hydraulic fill port. You aren’t getting the original filters off without a good strap wrench.
Only some minor grey dust on the magnet.
    Overall easy maintenance 1.5hrs tops

Guy at the service counter asked how satisfied I was and only mentioned maybe some more HP would be my desire. With a full bucket of base material coming up my driveway it’s all she wanted, with backhoe as ballast and my tires aren’t loaded.

Well my old Kubota L305 is getting tired and it is getting harder to find parts for.
    20190303_151132.jpg
I have had it for about 20 years its been a good tractor but I have decided it is time for something different. I looked at a lot of used tractors all colors and just can't justify spending that kind of money on used. I looked at the Kubota L2501 and the L3301
I am leaning towards the L2501 HST w/66"bucket. Dealer is giving me a good deal and with Kubota 0% incentive I can't afford not to even the Wife agrees :yes:so I have to do this

I SOOOO need a grapple for the front-end-loader. To quote Ferris Bueller it would be "so choice!" However, I do not "have the means" right now. Maybe in the future. If I win the lottery, definitely a telehandler. A man can always dream.

I heard good things about the wicked root grapple from everything attachments!

I almost ordered a box blade from them,66" with 5 scarifiers, but lead time was 8 weeks. They were even going to throw in kubota orange at no extra fee, and ship for free outside their 1000 mile free shipping zone. Still deciding.....
