    Thursday afternoon I dumped a big clay flowerpot that cracked with this stone and potting soil in it. I "was" going to pick out the stones and spread the soil. I guess I'll wait a bit....
    Look very close and see what a Momma bunny has done. :tears: I have no desire to disturb this!

    I actually didn't see them. One of our Corgis sniffed them out. They were real hard to notice, camouflaged well!

    Wild rabbits here ate blossoms off beans, squash and peas.. Never got a vegetable that flowers first... So we just bought them at farm stand...
    Ok because wife and daughter think they are Soo cute..:whistle:

    I have tried moving them to a spot more preferred by me and momma didn't find 'em.

    One time Judy was working in the garden and she stepped on something. Didn't know what or even if she did step on it for sure but knew to get off it quickly. Zap! Rabbits scattered every direction away from her.

    Since so many coyotes have moved in here we don't have many rabbits any more. However, I've seen more this winter than I have for quite some time.

    They are not bothering me so I believe in live and let live, with that said I'm just gonna let mother nature do it's thing! We have "many" red tail hawks, eagles and other creatures that may consider them a meal. "I" for one won't kill anything I'm not going to eat unless it's threating me or my family. I do get, and understand they are a nuisance to some/many. But my wife "feeds squirrels" so when she saw the bunnies, now it's just let life take it's course. :)

    I've never been much of a hunter, don't like killing things. Well my dog every spring seems to find a batch but he doesn't kill them, he leaves that for me. It just breaks my heart.

    Me neither!!! I've seen enough death in my life, all I care to! But I respect hunters who eat what they kill and have no problem with that! But I won't kill just for the fun of it.

    After rereading my post I realize that it sounds like the dog points them out and I kill them. He messes them up pretty bad first. I'm not some kind of monster. Well, not that way anyway.

    Same here, those little pests get into everything. I got a few of em last year, no nests in the grill or smoker this year :thumbs:

    I don't believe we have coyotes but we sure don't see many rabbits around. I use to see them all the time at our old home but our current home up against the woods I don't think I've even seen one rabbit.

    Sad situation this morning when I looked out on the Rabbits. One dead, "mauled and chewed" one ripped in half and the others gone! I'm not "blaming here" but I and most neighbors have had an issue with stay/feral cats here for years. It's all due to a woman years back who was feeding them. My guess is this was one of those cats. This just broke Chrissy's heart... :( But it's nature I suppose.

    We have had boom in rabbits here for a few years, I'm not in a mind to kill anything for no reason. But, our garden is my wife's main life, that's what she does from spring to fall. She was brought to tears from the damage they did to the crops. So we shoot them in the garden.
