    It was an odd night lol. It was my birthday and we set out for a camping trip, had lost our other dog I'll put pics up of later on July 3rd (she passed away, I'm still pizzed at that vet but that's another story).

    It rained like crazy and CO had a BAD fire summer last year. Fire bans up the wazoo in almost every county. It rained, and rained. We sat in the truck for a couple hours til it stopped and we set up camp. Those are my chef pants because I was the cook that night lol. Had fire extinguishers and tons of water in a near by creek and a PILE of dirt I dug up in case there was an issue. Waited til dark to build a fire etc. Next morning we drive down and suddenly "fire danger - LOW" lol

    They are cool dogs, love em to death and the cat is pretty cool too.

    "BAD fire summer last year"… that's for sure… my brother & wife live in Pagosa Springs and kept up in the news loop while all that was going on. Really scary stuff. Hope there's no fires there this year and that you get more chances to go camping in those pants… :yes: … :D

    Took a couple days holidays and have about 8 gabillion acres here BUT me and Emma had to go buy special dirt for some kind of fancy garden Mrs loon is gonna plant in? I didnt even ask a question gang! :yes:

    These pictures are really mood lifting. I just love our pets. My max and Molly are alway near me. I have to be careful not to fall over them. Molly is always flipping my arm when she she me staring off into nowhere. She gets my attention and we both feel better.

    There will be fire bans, there are EVERY year. Sucks because I'm really responsible when it comes to camp fire. I carry two extinguishers, a ton of water and several shovels. The fire is always DEAD when I go to bed, not burning down, not warm, but dead. I never get a fire more than a foot tall and don't build one in the wind.

    A lot of people that don't know how to work with fire in the dry woods have made it really hard for a lot of responsible people, it sucks.

    I'll still wear the pants :D

    Good that they get along. My daughter brings her two dogs over a few times a week so they can run around. Can't do that where she lives. The 4 of them just run so hard their tongues hang out. Thanks for sharing.

    Guy up the road has a large version of Timber Dex, ear and all :) Will try and get a picture of him for ya...

    This is about as close as she gets to nabbing the dreaded Red squirrels around here :whistle:
