campinspecter took me out for dinner tonight. Really nice. Now I am going to roll around as I am sure I ate too much especially dessert.

 

Wyo. real estate is climbing in price. Seen some crazy prices for "no-mans land" parcels around Rawlings recently. It's nuts.
I'm looking around Sheridan so I can move in 10 years or so. Colo. is getting too stupid to deal with, time to look elsewhere.

99 forced me to have brownies last evening after supper. One after another while we played cards. About 1 hour or so later, I knew I had too many! Oh brother, felt bad right up to and past bedtime. I definitely ate too many.

Morning all. Very thankful for all the kind words and thoughts from you all. It says and means allot. Yesterday and this morning she is doing ok and when she I am also. Glad for that. On a good note my brother is still doing ok for now. He does logging for work mostly and firewood on the side. He called me yesterday and said its to muddy in the woods to work right now but he has firewood at home he needs to cut and split . He wanted to know if I wanted some and I told him Id needed to wait for a while. He offered to bring it over and said I could make payments on it this summer. I really don't like doing this but it sure would be great to get it soon so it would have a chance to dry a least a little before next winter. He is coming Monday with the first load. Im looking forward to it and seeing him. I need to find some pallets to set my stacks on. Need to also figure where I want them. I think I will get 8 cords again this year. Well I better get out to the shop and get some work done this afternoon. Thanks again and have a good weekend all.

I'm late as usual. Trying to play catch up. . Happy Belated Birthday Pallet Pete and JCMC . Hope you both survived it, and just maybe, did something enjoyable.

 

I found the reason why the 4x8 trailer lights didn't work. A couple of shorts and a broken wire. I rewired a new pigtail onto it and put wire loom on it. I didn't have any butt splices, so it wasn't as nice as wanted it to end up, but it works. I have trailer lights again.


Yes, I need a new hitch for my shiny truck, but this will do for now. It's my old grand cherokee's hitch. I really needed a 3-4" drop hitch. This is a 2" I think they call it since the flat is on the bottom of the 2x2 square.

 

So doing yard clean up after heavy winds, me mostly on tractor watching snow finish melting.. And I see this..


Yup lost a piece of facia 35 feet up. now real question is which buddy borrowed my metal brake.. Putting this up seems like a cheap rental fee
