Spaghetti today with 99's "doctored" up sauce. MMmmmmm, already dipped bread into it as I couldn't wait.

Took a ride to the cottage and there is still snow on the roof down there! :picard: What we're getting today/tomorrow will only prolong that situation.

This weather is quite interesting. Snow started at 8:30, hasn't stopped (actually gotten worse), and we now have slightly more than 2" on the ground.
The nice thing.....temporarily....is the temps are down, which gives the ground some more time to absorb what's already here. That'll change when this melts, which should be tomorrow.
We can always use more water.

Sone great progress on the trail this morning again. :saw: Then I had to go to the real workhouse.:( Oh well. Three day weekend coming up! The 680 made short work of a quite a few stumps. I’m hoping to go back out tomorrow morning to cut some more of them down. Things are too soft to bring the tractor out there, and probably will be for 3 weeks at least. Once things dry up I need to get out there with the York take and fix a few ruts the M59 made. :picard:I told it not to go through there.

Lovely day. It is still *71 at 8:30 pm. Picked fallen sticks out of the yard.
Since we are going to have rain off and on for the next 4 days, I decided to mow the lawn. Could of went longer but thought I would get ahead of the game. Got the side yard mowed and some tree limbs were attempting to knock me off the mower. I'm not putting up with that all this year. MS250 to the rescue.
Walked around the yard cutting all low hanging branches off the trees. Burnt all the sticks and branches.
Finished the other side yard and the front. About 3/4 of an acre to go out back. At least everything that can be seen from the road is done.
Went to our grandson's ball game. They lost again but it was the best game that I have seen them play this year. Our grandson played 3rd base and did make one fantastic play. The ball was sharply hit right down the 3rd base line. He dove, caught the ball and threw the batter out at first base from his knees.

OK, I'm still laughing about the name of this product. Anyone else think its funny?

While looking for lifting tongs for firewood handling, I found this product offered by northwinds llc…."pinch a log" !!!

The version in the video has been updated a bit since the date of the vid.

At any rate, this is good news seeing as you won't strain your back if you pinch a log.

If you burn firewood, you need to pinch a log.:picard:

Morning all . Been working allot. To be honest I try no to say to much depressing stuff but I seen to have allot of it. That's why I sometimes I just don't post. I guess the biggest thing that gets to me is my wifes health problems. Been with her over 31 years. She has been having mini strokes every few weeks and just had another one yesterday. For the last year she cant find words she is trying to say and she also cant reumber very well short term. I must admit its allot to take and its not hard to see whats going to happen. She is older than I. I keep a eye on her and Im glad I work at home. She has been working 16 hurs a week and its not going to make her very happy when she cant work or drive. I have to hold it together, make more money. Always being there for someone is something you just do. Seeing things happen is the hard. Ok. Im done. Thank you for reading and have a good day all.

You can post the depressing stuff here. We want to support you, as you support your wife. Do you have any family close by?
