Very cool. Myself , I think Id need a motor on my bike to get very far. :) I really like the view and not having any snow or mud makes it look even better.

Today is the day that the rest of the snow on the rooves of most buildings will finally be gone due to the amount of rain we're getting. That's good.

Yesterday afternoon, I was informed that 99 had made a bowling date for us. "At 2:00 this afternoon. And we'll have pizza there, I'm sure. By the way, do you think your back is OK enough to do that?"

    It'll be interesting......but don't think so.

Morning to you all . Enjoyed all the good posts this morning. Only thing I have got going on lately is work and not smoking or beer for a week. Beer has been easy but not cigs. Im not saying I quit. I do feel better in some ways and Im glad for that. Id like to feel good enough to do a little firewood this summer without feeling like crap. Anyway, Id also like to say Im saving money but I spent it on the three drones. I must admit I need to stop buying for a while. I really enjoy it and it helps keep my mind busy learning and getting out and flying. Hope you all have a great day.

Wife is still in bed. New mattress is a hit. Backwoods Savage. I asked about bringing it to the GTG she said the air mattress is in the basement.

Getting a new mattress was one of the best things we've done. We also went up to a king from a queen bed, so that helps a lot as well will the bed hog dogs.

I have to run the saw and clean up some of the cuts on the scrounged honey locust and then split them, and run into town to meet a buddy, as well as probably do a tool rental on a compression tester from O'Reilly's since I'm in town.
It is to rain this afternoon, so I'll need to get the saw work and splitting done this am.

I also drove the ATV over my ruts I made with the 4runner the other week. That did help to flatten them down. The ground is still super soft there.

I also need to grab another bag of sand for my aquarium from the pet store.

Rainy day here. Two games of curling to watch and bookkeeping to do. There probably is a baseball game as well. I started working on another puzzle as well. Busy, busy day - maybe. Everyone have a good one.

Every once and awhile, there'll be a thread about how younger folks do not know how to make change. I would like to reinforce that belief.

I bought a gallon of milk yesterday and the total was 1.99. I gave the girl a $5 bill, OK? She hesitates just a bit, looks at me and then grabs a penny from the penny bowl.

I asked her "How much was the milk?"

"$1.99..... I grabbed a penny so you would get an even amount of change back."

I replied, "I will without using the penny."

"No, it was 1.99 and the penny will make it an even $2."

I smiled and said "OK, go ahead."

She punched in $5.01 for a $1.99 purchase and lo and behold...… gave me a quick glance-turned away even quicker and gave me back the change and the 3 dollar bills! I left the pennies in the bowl and left without attempting a math lesson.

    At least she tried!
