Snow last night should melt today, which probably won't help with the yard firming up here.

I like their taste but red tie is a “power move”. Depends on if you need that for an important meeting or not.

I prefer the gray, but the red would look fine too, especially if the front of the jacket is kept buttoned.

We are head over heals in love with our first grandchild who was born this past week. Our daughter and baby are doing very well. A perfect, healthy, beautiful 6lb 14oz girl!

So we are pretty much revolving everything around our daughter and her little family this weekend. We are going over to do some work in the baby's room and cook them dinner today.

I am usually so excited for one activity or another on the weekends that I am up even earlier than normal. For example today I woke up wide awake at 3 AM. I am typically good to go after 5-6 hours of sleep anyways.

If I have some sort of project going on, I will wake up and immediately my brain is off to the races thinking about it. This morning it was about a new truck project Ive been thinking about starting this summer. Im usually the same as you 5-6 hours and I am good to go.

it was spitting snow here when I got home at 9:00, but it turned to rain, so no accumulation. I may just end up working on the back deck, I have a few rotted boards to replace, and the rest needs to be pressure washed and sealed.

I guess we will find out soon enough. Do those cost more? If so, then they definitely didnt. Previous owner did everything on this house, and as cheap as possible every step of the way.

I've got my grandson all day, I hope to drag him away from Lego and get outside for awhile. We are definitely taking a trip to the dump. IMG_20190406_2993.jpg

The FCA is what I know as the "big three"?

I had seen these previously, but thought that they were smaller undersized versions of the willys. Man, was I wrong! I really like these buggys!

I finally ordered a front and rear windshield for the Polaris ranger along with a roof. Probably head to the cottage and install those today or tomorrow.

I went for a mountain bike ride with one of my best friends today and we climbed the ridge where a pine plantation had been harvested. It was a sole destroying climb on logging roads covered in basalt, but a decent view.

The sun came out in the afternoon and we rode around the boundary of the local gold mine, climbed the ridge again this time on dirt tracks then headed back to the trucks.
