What would this truckload of wood cost in your neck of the woods?

No idea if there'd be a delivery fee, but split/delivered is about $165/cord or a bit more. $2600-2800.

That's rowerwet's video. He posted it here before.
It's kiln dried being delivered to a garden center. $3800 a truckload. I don't remember if that was retail or net.

I'm sorry, just watched it at lunch and thought of this forum, didn't mean to repost something. At $3,600.00 that is what it cost me to heat my house with LP in 1992 with two woodburners going. That would be cheap yet.

Why apologize JW? Never seen that video before and that would be cool watching it backed up in my driveway. :coldone:

$5600 here and that's why I imagine it will never happen.:hair:

I was just adding that it is rowerwet's video and certainly worth reposting.

Wow, sure seems like a lot all together like that. Used to go through that much give or take a couple yearly with the owb. No wonder I dropped a couple belt notches the first year doing it by hand.

    Cool video!

I used to count sheep to fall asleep, now I'll just think of all those splits just falling out.

That load would cost $7,000 to $9,500 depending on species down here.

I love that walking floor trailer! Wish my trailer was that easy to unload.

AUD is what, 75¢ US ?
$150AUD a cubic meter sure must make coal attractive, especially now with the price of coal down.

I just converted some Aussie cash to USD on Friday at 72 cents.

We can’t buy coal locally anymore. The environmentalists have seen to that.

200- 250 a cord, not kiln dried. Plus taillights and lost plate fees. LOL
