About to go Backwoods Savage style... These rounds are mine and the poppa’s...Dont even think about it!
Just at 1 cord-back at it Wed afternoon, after court for the timber thieves, 10 mos later...Hope all are warm and well.
great looking wood and stacks Ashwatcher , love white oak, i can smell it from here! I must say out of all the processing areas ive seen on FHC yours is the neatest! Will you finish filling the shed and quit or hoard on?
TY buZZsaw BRAD , No rest for this hoarder-I’ll go hard through May and likely beyond with my best friend having the log job going 10 miles away-No snakes on cleared log yard-prob cut at least once a week through summer-I had a complete tear of the supraspinatis rotator cuff tendon (the big one) repaired in December last year so I’m playing catch up...Thank God for the 3 yr plan-I need 9-11 cord in rotation at all times-The whole backside of the shed is ready to fill plus I’m gonna set up at least one more rail rack and replace 6 pallets that have rotted...and then...
i like the tarp under the splitter to cut down on the mess & clean up. Beautiful looking set up. Boy, you guys are really teaching me a lot!!!
Ok Ashwatcher .. great pics, but why are you using that 5 gallon blue bucket? You know the proper way to do that is with a milk crate? Are you trying to avoid the grid lines on your ash?
That is beautiful Ashwatcher. I had never noticed before the offset of the beam on the splitter but can see why they did it that way. As long as it works. Snakes is one thing we rarely think about here and glad you now have a clear area so you don't have to worry about them. I guess you must be just about healed from the surgery and that makes me very happy.
Milk crate sits too low Canadian border VT and I dont have a custom cushion to prevent said ash grid....And I would feel a victory of sorts might be construed by “the other side”...I only go vertical by necessity when lifting is too strained...
Yes sir Mag Craft , I’ve seen like 3 people mowing already....-..if you look around the shed and rail rack some kind of flowering weed is already 8” tall-Be mowing soon enough. Hope this finds you and yours warm and well. How did you fare this winter?
