Redneck you say that was 12 hours work over 3 days; around here it would be 12 months work with only 3 days off. We work slow.

    Good job brother.

Got me worn out just looking at the work that got done. I'll have to go take a nap now.

Supposedly eastern cottonwood grows along the Connecticut River valley all the way up into Vermont. Also along the Hudson river valley about the same distance north. Maybe along some other larger rivers too but they apparently like the water and soil that comprise river valleys. More common west of New England. If they are like (western) cottonwoods they have huge catkins that puff up like annoyingly huge cottonballs the size of baseballs that get into everything in the Spring.

Old timers have old school tactics for getting it done!

Twelve hours over three days sounds about a perfect pace for me at my age (55), and in my current condition.

Note : the 2 white trucks are only 1/2 mine share the f350 with sil & f250 with son. They both bought 2017’s last year but im not allowed near them.
There are a few trucks abd a trailer that are gone now that I couldn’t find pictures of.

Now for the best part i bought my house 2 years ago and don't have a wood burner in it yet. Working on keeping my parents, sil and daughter, son, in wood working on the three year plan for all.
We don't get much good wood. But make up for it in volume of junk wood.

Was raking up the bark and trash when Remy decided to protect his pieces while he took a nap. Should be about 9 cord css. And the last picture to ss.
