Friend had two Sugar Maple taken down at a rental property. Off we go on the scrounge. Got everything but the stems. My 044 was the biggest saw I had with me & it acted up 1/2 way through the day. Took three full trailers out yesterday & got one left. Will get that next Saturday. Just what I needed was one more tree job, but hey He's a good friend & I hate to see wood go to waste.

Looking good! Sugar maple is our hot stuff of choice over here. Burned plenty of it this year, and have plenty more on deck for the years ahead!

Will you get those stems later once time allows? Lots of good firewood tied up in there, and wouldn't want to leave them as ant bait right in front of the house, right? :)

I'll cut the stems Saturday. Jerry's gonna haul the brush, then l don't have to fight it. Stems are only 10' or so.

I really like the architecture of the white house with green trim. Oh, yes, great wood haul.

There are some beautiful old homes in that town. Built in the mid & late 1800's. Great craftsmanship in those days.

That & one tree was in decline was the reason they came down. That roof looked like green shag carpet.

Property owner will haul it off before I go back.
Actually it wasn't too bad. The big stuff was on top for the most part. Took limbs down to 6" size. Brush will be gone when I drop the stems.
