    I have an urgent request... A co-worker who is training to work in our department lost his dad and his best friend last night. His best friend had been battling cancer for a little while, knew his time was short, he left a wife and 3 kids, 10 yr old daughter, 13 yr old son and 16 daughter. He was 42 yrs old.
    His dad had some heart trouble, Drs placed a couple stents in Thursday, thought everything was fine....
    My friend just got hit hard. Thanks for caring, y'all.

    Prayers needed, please read. Our grand daughter, husband, and 3 little kids are moving from oregon to wyoming starting today. They will be crossing some 4,000 ft passes which have snow and slick spots all along the way. If you will , would you PLEASE, keep them in your prayers? We got the 24 ft van he is going to drive loaded last night, a few things are going to be put in today. They have to leave before it starts getting late up on the pass, so they can beat the freeze that normally happens in the evenings and early mornings. Her husband, has never driven a loaded heavy truck like this before, she has been on ice and snow only around town. This is a BIG MOVE for them, they are buying a new home, in wyoming and he has a good job there. They have been apart off and on for the past 3 yrs and its going to be a huge change for all of them, i can see that right off. I was up a lot late last night and this morning early , just being concerned about this trip and what they are going to face getting to their destination. So, if you would, PLEASE ask God to watch over them, that they will have a safe and uneventful journey. That they will find a good grounded Christian church to attend when they get settled, we as grand parents are very concerned for all of them. Thank you very much for any, and all prayers. I'll keep you all posted on their journey.

    Prayers for a safe journey. May it also be a happy journey with little stress. Driving a truck like that for the first time should not be too stressful except for maybe the first 20 miles or so or the first decent from a mountain pass. Still, most of today's roads are pretty good to drive on even in the mountains. Still, we pray for good weather for them so they do not have to drive on snow or ice. And when they get there, we pray this turns out to be one of the greatest things they've done in life. It can be too. My wife and I packed up more than once and moved on and it can be fun. Let us pray also that this brings them closer together from this time forward.
