A few pics from a 3 day ice fishing trip to Tanada and Copper lakes in the Wrangle St Elias National Park. Lake trout and burbout had great views saw lots of caribou along the way. Thea are views very few get to see. Tanana lake is a 8 mile snow machine ride and Copper another 8-9 mile trip.
Been there! Elk hunting where you could move around fine in the AM but as soon as the sun hit the ground you were stuck til the night freeze!
Now that's serious hoarding equipment right there. I'm sure thru good ole free market forces, that produces some wealth for the fam.. I like it alot!
Stacks have on a diet past year but her energy demand is on the rise so stacks get fed. Later this summer when dlreally dry out, I pull off the fence line some 3 yr wood moving it to the shed. Close to 4 cords I have , which is enough.. for now.
I don't know about "wealth". I call it "mad money" for frivolous things I don't' need. Such as a 395XP NIB box that I threw on the shelf for the future. They EPA is going to end these fine saws in North America soon.
Me at 20. In front of the cabin where I was born. Picture has logs, a dog and an axe so it fits for this site!
I just knew a fish would bite! It is a cabin I built for a friend on his property where I rented a house. My Wif likes the picture. I was quite the mountain man then. I tell everyone who sees it that I was born there. Let the record show that I actually was born in a hospital!
Aw...shucks. Well, your having built the cabin with your bare hands is a good runner-up story. And is that a pelt hanging by the door?
