That's a good idea for sure. If you come across a Kaw Super Sherpa in good shape don't hesitate. It will run with your 350 equally. You can guess how I know:whistle:

I just found this image on a forum with a KLR thread. I grew up riding Honda trail bikes with heel/toe shifters. If I did this to my DR350 I could just keep riding it for a while: IMG_1261.jpg

Looks like a great idea. Making one doesn't look to tough. Worth a try for sure.

Well, I found a used 2018 NC750X dct with 4000 miles. He’s going to throw in the Touratech pannier cases. It has a lot of other high quality ad ons too. I’m going to pick it up next month: 00153618-CABE-4741-87BC-0CE37F8D211E.jpeg 7C9AF81E-7061-438E-AB43-475BE922A461.png 17CD7C85-2764-4F7D-8B09-FE9407C6F1DE.jpeg

Nice one. I've serviced the NC7xx line of bikes. Very low center of gravity. Doesn't appear too off-road friendly IMO. I run those Michelin Road5's. They are an awesome tire. The grip when leaned over is phenomenal for a touring tire. You won't do well on anything but pavement with them. Not saying you can't, just that it will be far from optimum.

Well, I already have the DR350, so I might keep that for trail riding and only use the NCX for the road.

I’ve also read great things about the Road 5’s. Combined with this bike’s traction control options, it should take the risk of riding in the rain to a minimum.
The HSTC features two levels; Level 1 allows some rear wheel spin – on gravel or dirt for instance – while Level 2 provides confidence-inspiring traction on slippery roads and is ideal for tricky commuting and touring conditions.

Level 2 is the default from ‘ignition on’, and a push of the button on the left handlebar changes the setting to Level 1. Pushing and holding the button turns HSTC off for those confident in their own abilities.

That sounds like an excellent plan! It looks very well cared for.

Great looking bike. The cases alone are not cheap! Keep us posted on your opinion of this one.

I think that’s what Honda was shooting for, but it doesn’t really have serious off-road creds like a “real” adventure bike.

The NC750X came home with me today. The owner lives in Florida so we met halfway, in North Carolina: F335D287-63DC-4E0F-B6B2-AFD84A18F026.jpeg

Here’s all the additions he documented in his build:

    Radiator guard
    Givi rear tire hugger
    Center stand (Honda OEM)
    2” rock risers
    Touratech panniers rack
31 liter Touratech Zega Pro panniers
    Fastway Adventure footpegs
    BRUUDT Windscreen Adjusters
Madstad 22 inch slim adventure windshield
    SW-Motech crash bars
    Honda hand guards
    Sargent seat
    Ram mount
    Cig lighter

I can’t think of anything else I would have wanted to add to it from new except maybe LED driving lights.

    Quite!

Plus he had installed a pigtail for a trickle charger/electric warming accessories and threw in an extra new set of Road Pilot 5’s he had already bought. The current Pilot 5’s he has on it still have well more than half their life left.

LMK when you wanna meet up for a ride. I'll need a couple weeks yet, I'm waiting for the release of the Shoei GT Air 2 to replace my damaged lid. And I need to get the left fork leg seal replaced.

    Will do! Probably after Easter.

I just got one of those Reevu modular helmets. I’ve been fascinated with their periscopic rear view tech since they first came out over a decade ago.

Just had to throw a leg over after working my wood pile over for many hours today.

Gonna uncover my bike here soon and go over it for the season. Thinking about ordering suspension upgrades as well. It’s the only thing on my FZ-09 that really needs an upgrade.
