I split til 8:15, sorry for the crappy pic, phone was dying-wanted to get full moon pic in background, may try later...load from Sunday-Ended up .45 cord...to the right of the rubber roofing uncovered
A tiny cow. Also agree that it's a nice load of ash Kris_S I've got a lot that will need harvested as well, due to EAB.
I’d like mine mid-rare please, more rare than mid...bloody but warm to the center,,,please and thank you...I can smell them from here...Strips are my fave.
Looks like you're asking a lot from that cinder block with the rails directly over the hollows. Maybe you can fill the voids withe cement or something solid or add extra reinforcements somehow. Once loaded that's a lot of tonnage! It's a beautiful system you have there and I wouldn't want to see it come tumbling down on ya.
Well sir Urban Woods I may just grab a small bag of quikrete and do that-Kinda funny, our friend basod mentioned it like 2 yrs ago so we refer to it as Basod’s Block...So far so good, that single 12” block has withstood 3 yrs-the rails are 33’ long and once filled holds just over a cord...I have a few more of the rails and the next rigs will be supported by blocks of railroad ties...I dont have any more of those concrete casing things on the ends-up off the ground for good air, its also easy to weed eat and apply weed killer around
Ashwatcher well if you do cement it with quikcrete, just shove a brick or large rock inside to take up most of the space and just trowel it over. Yeah those rails are used great in this design and I wish I could get my hands on some, but I would hate to have to trim them to size haha!
