Good thing Chaz didn't use that particular screenshot as an example. Disclaimer: No offense intended toward Chaz or Chazsbetterhalf or anybody else. Is that PC enough?
I may make a short comment stating my feelings (usually not comment at all) and then it is ignore. No good comes from a couple of headstrong people butting heads. Apology accepted no offense taken. Having been a Moderator on a different forum, I am somewhat sensitive to hijacking. On the questioned posting, the OP was soliciting comment and not a question.
I think it is great that this site will not do anything about threads that do not stay on topic. Used to be on a forum that it seemed as soon as off topic discussions started, the "golden padlock" award was handed out! I ask you this, in the course of any normal/natural occurring conversation, doesn't the topic always seem to drift a bit anyway? No one stays on topic for very long, right? Anyway, no big no deal!
I think that has something to do with money. Some forums sell ads and want a serious atmosphere. It’s more laid back here.
Stay on topic??? OMG you should see the path of how did I get here that happens in my head! I can be talking in my head goin to the bathroom and end up taking over the world, to making sausage, on to a hunting trip as a kid, to oooohhh look shiny tinfoil, what did I come into this room for, all before my first cup of coffee in the morning.
So, when one comes to a fork in the road, what option should one exercise? I quite often opt to take it. Good, bad, or ugly. Internet popo can sometimes be pretty amusing.
I make extra coffee each morning. After work my wife and I have a cup or two, and talk about our days. We switch to beer or red wine for Thursdays and Fridays Regarding internet policing, I have not seen much evidence that much of it is needed on this site I have never wanted to join or stay on other websites because a number of the members seem a little around the bend
