Had some help hauling out some box elder and maple. These were the first trees that i had pulled out with my tractor winch. One of my helpers needed a nap and the other needed some pet. The wifey got out and chucked some wood too. It was alittle muddy, but not as bad as i expected. Weather was sunny and 50's by the afternoon, felt great. 20190317_110627.jpg 20190317_115559.jpg 20190317_105547.jpg 20190317_105511.jpg 20190317_115956.jpg 20190317_120017.jpg

Yeah it was pretty good sized. It was growing on the side of a hill and was very tall. Not sure what killed it but it had been dead for two years.

Nice pictures, great way to spend quality outdoors family time. Smart too, no mess to clean up in the yard since you split it in the woods. I am going to have to try that approach the next time.

Yeah i could skid out all the logs, but seems like skidding the logs tear up my trails and the splitting and cutting make a mess in the yard. I only skid out my saw logs now.

Yep I agree, it doesn’t take long to get a lot of logs out of the woods.

I try to do my skidding when the ground is frozen. Otherwise it’s like you said.

Boy Spencer , good thing I wasn't there. I would've been napping in the sun instead of working. I can't nap unless I'm in the sun in the woods. Looks like a great day! Good job!

Spencer that looks like good work and I surely wish I had some good looking helpers like you do. 50 degrees it probably won't be long before you can't get in the woods much.
