    I like both, but the birds eye view is not advisable in wintertime (dangerous spot when icy). was nice to get that perspective for the first time in months, but I do also like being right at sea level for the effect of the ship towering over you, especially with big ships.

    I set my goals this morning and got them done. Today was shut down day for the stove. I cleaned the liner bottom up with the soot eater. I took the baffle out and it was very easy. Just over a cup of gray light ash.. No crunchies. I vacuumed out the stove and removed it. I got it up on a wheeled flat dolly and stored it away. The liner and cap got pulled. I had to bear hug the liner and lift it a few feet at a time up and out. Installed a new cap and here we are.

    Awesome day today. I revived campinspecter 's thread on the view from our living room as I took some pictures of the day. Now I am working on a puzzle again. this one is a bit more difficult with all the flower colours.
