Yes ma’am. Probably 15 lbs of fillets. In the freezer already. We found a nest of large males in the lily pads and killed them. 1 cane pole is all we used. Gramma taught me that.

Yes sir, we have walleye for sure. All of the perch in this area are abundant and big but tend to be wormy, especially in the summertime. Great perch down in the St. Lawrence though.

I have been to lakes in Ontario that the perch were very wormy. I have heard the worms are not dangerous to humans. True or not I don't know.
These fish were from the Foleyet area and were not very wormy at all.

Ocean fish like cod can have worms in the flesh. Worms come from the back end of seals and the cod consume it off the ocean floor. Well, there''s that. Who's hungry?

Just back in town with mom, and hopefully spend most of my waking hours working since mom's busy with school till next month. I have to check the snow clearing job every weekday so my only chance to get home during winter is if I have time off from the store on a weekend. Not sure if my snow clearing contract will be extended for April, maybe not if the weather keeps going the way it has. Regardless, on one of the Easter Stat holidays me and mom will do a little road trip.

Meanwhile, I got a birds eye view of the freighter coming in this morning. Sea level shot for comparison of the 2 perspectives
