I took the Husqvarna 55 out today and it ran really well until the end of the day. It started making noise and died. It would not restart and I found that the compression was gone.So is it time to replace a new cylinder kit? I find Hexautoparts have piston cylinder kit for sale fit my saw.Most reviews on trustpilot about hexautoparts.com is fast shipping or fantastic price.I wondered the longevity and warranty. Any feedback? Thanks.
That's just a generic Chinese AM open port topend. I've used a few and they are generally acceptable. May have to dremel some slop off the ports. Although one was great, yielding 175 PSI. Don't know what yours needs until you pull the jug and inspect. You may see a broken ring in exhaust port.
Many times, the aluminum transfer can be cleaned off the cylinder and you'll only need to buy a piston and rings. But you'll still need to find why it burned up in the first place and fix it or it'll burn up again

Welcome aboard and pics please. I’ve had a couple 55s on the bench this winter and there’s atleast two spots that are very possible air leak sources. The rubber boot between the intake and the bulkhead. That seems to relax over time use. If you replace that I suggest OEM. It fits better than Aftermarkets I bought. The other is the impulse grommet. Both on the bench had cracked and/or squished over time. The pic below is of one that got dragged in with the bayonet when mounting the bulkehead. Assuming you had good fuel the whole day, I’d say you should be looking for air leaks. Also take a look at the decomp valve if it has one. Looking forward to seeing what you got.
