Broke down and fired one up for the 2 hour ride this morning. My Father flor de las antillas in toro. The whole time I was enjoying it, I was thinking of how it resembled an Arturo Fuente Hemmingway short story. Worth buying again at 5.70.

I had a la palina Maduro 2nd this past week. Ended up with 3 re-lights on it as it is a Churchill and I just didn't have the time to smoke it all at one time. It was good, kinda reminded me of a mark twain memoir (after it is aged and better tasting) and I think it would be OK to smoke without any further aging in the coolidor, but I'm gonna give it a couple months and have it again during the summer with the hopes it gets even better. Maduros age well in the coolidor.

Holy cow...that's the 2nd cigar this month...what's happening to me??? :D

Oliva series Gf Maduro (2nd). Very good! Same as a first; just cosmetic flaws to become a 2nd. Almost a year old.

I should have some more 2nds coming.

Oliva master blend III and oliva melanio Maduro. I have had oliva 2nds before and enjoy them with no complaints-specifically, the G Maduro. Also coming are some Rocky Patel Edge Maduros. These are the originals, not the counterfits or "2nds". I'll try the counterfits at some point.

After a 2-3 month rest from smoking, I made a promise to myself to enjoy one now and again.

Same as here. I tried a few others but keep on gravitating back to them.

    Order arrived!

    Rocky Patel edge Maduro

    And then these seconds

Oliva master blends 3 and oliva melanio Maduro.

I have had the oliva series G Maduro in the seconds and really enjoyed them so I'm hoping the melanio Maduro and the mb3 will also be good for 2nds.

    More coming next week!

After almost a month rest, I had my second Maduro la palina today. This is a 2 hour cigar (at 7" and 58 ring gauge) but I put it out well before that. I can not believe how good it was compared to the first one I had in the beginning of Feb; the rest did it good! Really looking forward to the next one!

Bought some of these (don't know why) and man, do I like them! Right off the truck and good smelling smoke (pipe like) mild but I've got to say that the after smoke (on your clothes) is horrible!

I'll be getting some more. I hope they age well.

    Yup, saw that.

Kinda my daily routine to check it out! Are you getting some? May be a touch cheaper on the auctions.
