I went back a little deeper in the honey hole and found some pig nut, white oak, red oak and a little shag. Two of the pig nuts are blow downs and look to be 12 to 16" dbh. The white oak blow down is about 12". The shag top is probably 8" and the red oak tops are various sizes and shapes. I bucked about a face cord but didnt haul or split any.
    I used the 261 and had the 026 for backup. 20190313_142317.jpg 20190313_141945.jpg 20190313_141832.jpg 20190313_141710.jpg 20190313_141444.jpg 20190313_151250.jpg 20190313_151245.jpg 20190313_141706.jpg 20190313_141634.jpg 20190313_141610.jpg

Nice honey hole but what the heck happened in there? Logging or a wind storm. Some nice firewood in there though

That's a nasty mess you have there. But well worth it. Looks like prime whitetail country!

very steep but most of it is close to the bottom or close enough that I can drag it down to the flat. its wet in spots and soft so I'm not going to take my tractor in until it drys some so I dont rut it up.

Nice! I love working an area like that where it's got trees to pull off the hillside (not too far up) and nice terraced land below.

some rugged terrain, but a nice honey hole for sure. Cool that you have exclusive access to it!
