There isn't much let up from the wind this month. March is always very windy. Was able to get my trees trimmed today by a professional. They were bothering me with all the dead wood in them.

Wet heavy snow in New England in the spring when the trees and limbs are full of sap always ends up snapping off limbs, that brings me wood from heaven that I grab as I go about in my travels.

Supposed to be very windy here and it did come up quite a bit but far from what is forecast. So far 30 mph is the strongest

Windy here but not horrible, no rain showing till late week so the wind is welcome to dry things up good.

Well it didn't blow as bad as last week but still good enough for me to find a white oak today. Decent size. It was obviously rotted as it snapped about 20 foot up from the ground. I didn't take the saw today just went for a walk. Seems like the majority of what's on the ground is good wood. Probably a little soft for a few feet from were it snapped. I can't get back to that big red maple that's on the ground until it dries up back there or refreezes. It turned into a total swamp and the atv will sink.
