Wow, I bet that baby throws out the heat. I would love to have one I could cook on. It does not appear from the picture that you could add a blower. Unless there is something I am not seeing. Welcome to the club. You will like it here.
Been working hard this week between the heavy rains to get everything done. Almost there, I will be installing a squirrel cage fan tomorrow. I'll post more photos . Update: Well Fisher wood heater friends I finished up today. Here are a few pictures of my set-up . It was warm here today but I built a good fire to test drive the new fan set-up. It's going to put out more heat than I imagined.
Update. It's cold in Alabama this morning, 37 degrees. I started with a cold stove 445 a.m. and by 6 a.m. the shop was 60 degrees. What a difference between the two heaters. Wish I had done this years ago. Winter projects will be more productive with a warmer shop . Thanks everyone for the info on theses heaters.
Well my high temp engine enamel ( Oldsmobile Gold ) is burning off. It's getting a silver tone to it. Gold or silver it hasn't changed the way my shop warms up.
If you ever have to do it again, "Buy this stuff"!!! Williams Ace Hardware - 1/2 PINT CHROME ALUMINUM Had it on 4 Fishers and still going on my grandma like new!!! Here's an old Baby Bear with it on, 6 years old!
Well Fisher wood heater friends, the weather is finely changing. It has been stupid hot down here for months. It's not wood heater weather yet but getting there. Hope you guys are ready, I've been cutting and stacking wood all summer. Sherm
