Dream Wood Hauler and Unloader

My 1st vehicle was a 1970 chevy pickup. Just not as fast.

 

Now thats watcha call a sleeper for sure!!

 

I know it'll sound like a "line"........................but I know a guy that knows that guy!!!

My Bud said it was funny for about 6 months at the track with him running that truck "as is" before word got around!!

I cannot find the video of it doing a wheelie on launching..................hense why I'd love it for unloading wood!!!

 

I also owed a 1972 Chevy Cheyenne Super truck. It was the best truck I ever had.....to a hurricane flood (42" of water) took it out. ..... wish I still had it!

 

It would definitely offload easily. A few of my friends know most of the Street Outlaws guys. Said this one is a whack job.

Perfect plates.. Love it. I used to do a little Pure Street racing - seen some very interesting sleepers out there. There was a mild cult following in the early 00s for the Chevy Astrovan, one guy used to roll his off a trailer and line up, everybody who doesn't know what's going on sorta chuckles until you see the cage behind the tinted windows.. And see that the thing is running 9s all day on ET Streets.

 

We used to have a guy in a minivan back in the 90s. Cant remember what it was, but FWD turbocharged. Pretty damm fast, I think it was.low 11s back in 9ish

 

NHMS is Loudon? Never made it up that way, though my old club had a couple events there. I was about 45 minutes from LVD so that was my haunt. Love to get back into it someday.

Been to LVD a few times racing snowmobiles, haven't been there since 2001ish.

A buddy of mine has a 4wd Kawasaki Mule Side by side with a hydraulic dump bed and it is lethal at moving large quantities of wood fast. You can pull up right next to the pile, drive right up to your stacks and unload with minimal effort. he managed to score the thing at stupid low price and I haven't been able to find anything for close to what he paid. Ah well.

 

A buddy of mine had one exactly like that. beautiful!
