Loaded truck pics.

A logging trailer sure is a handy tool to haul wood out to the truck .

 

But , this winters truck loads were also done by Donk

 

I have the toys...I like it! Do you mind if I show these pics to the guy building my trailer?

 

Show away , I looked at a lot of pics on the net before I built mine .
I used new atv wheels and trailer hub/spindles , all the steel was used .

Today’s load after work. I brought my Skandic, sled and trailer home from work. It’s my weekend off this month, I plan on getting some spruce, from the timber sale I bought. Oh I am going to have some fun.

This morning's load. It was some short stove length wood for a lady.

 

Was a nice warm Alaskan day, J my (8) year old, and I cut a load of spruce. We cut 2 trees. Was a good safe day, he learned about under cut, back cut and how to aim a tree.

 

Well done.

Rope I told my dad when I graduated from college.. How did I go to school for four years and work pay for it and your (dad) IQ double in that time?

 

Right, smart when they are little, not so much in the teenage years but after high school/college.....bam-smart again.

Got some hedge cut yesterday. A buddy had a great idea to use an old car roof to skid it out of the woods. It worked great.
And barbed wire.
