That really makes for a pleasant trip when you don't see a lot of traffic! One of the greatest things about the north country.

Enjoying a sun shinny day here! A rare occasion but will be getting more of this as spring arrives. Also it only got down to 12 overnight and is now 24. Forecasted high is 26 and getting higher each day. Tomorrow should see above 32 and it will be very welcome.

Frost laws will start a week from tomorrow and the forecast is for us to be around 40 all next week. Finally... But I alreay shot that groundhog.

Depending on who you listen to, we are predicted for 6" to 9" to 12" of snow starting on Sat late morning, afternoon or evening and into Sunday.

    That should cover it.

Woke to 3*F OWB eating up the wood the past few days. Its been cold and windy here. It's 23* now just reloaded the OWB with a smorgasbord of Red Oak, Beech, Ash, and Sugar Maple. Pile is going down faster than I like I may have to cut some dead standing to get through till warmer weather.

28 here and burning coals down. Guessers are saying 60 by next week. We don’t have it like a lot of you. Most are ready for spring but I love burning wood. I could stand a couple more months of winter!!!!

25 here right now, predicting 18 overnight. 71 inside, just got some ash, oak and locust going till the night burn. Calling for 50 by Sat, 23 Friday night so I will be hitting it early and hard Sat to get a load out before it gets too soft. I will take whatever the Good Lord brings but if I had my druthers Spring can wait a bit yet.

#1 is 17, #2 is 2. They know - one is excited for a new baby to come visit on breaks from college(!!!) and the other... Kinda gets it. :) We started young, then had a long hiatus where one was ok.. Then in our early thirties realized we wanted more and got after it. At 37 though, this will be the final edition. ;)

Thanks to all for the kind words of congratulations! What a great group we have here!

12F here, no wind & no snow. Today was nice with some sun & mid 20's. Could stay like this for a while, but I think mud's coming soon. Oak & Sugar Maple in the boiler.

We've hit our projected low of 2. 33 tomorrow, and some sun.
    Time for an overnight fire.
