So I am new to iron planet and struggled with the site. This was sold 2 hours from me, and I set aside $20k..... a lot of hours, but I have cat diesel techs that work for me! Very frustrated right now

 

That is a nice 525. That's a heck of a price, looks like I need to be looking at Iron Planet a little more. I mostly look at Forestry equipment and MyLittleSaleman, I found the same thing, with Iron Planet, was less user friendly than other sites. I did not register, so I don't see many prices or bids.

 

Honestly a decently taken care piece with 11,000 hours is not bad. I would not be nervous until 20,000 then I want receipts and records to fell better.

 

I used to work for an auction and we bought a lot of stuff from iron planet to resell. Our online auction was through a different auction site. It's kind of a different world and certain people get certain things. Lots of false sales to the preferred bidders.

Would that be like balls to the walls, so you could get that lot cleared.

Keep looking. There will be many more. The forest products industry is not healthy due to many factors. Auction companies will also pull a no sale and mark it as sold just to make it look like they move equipment.
I have a late 80's TJ 360A dual arch grapple with new engine and tranny for sale but no where near that cheap.

 

I was looking at generator's on that site.

 

It's a procedure to register with them, then you need to get authorized to buy or some such language.
I did finally get through it. Got a few good deals on their Govt. (mostly military) surplus site.
