Exit 13 off 91 both North/South lanes. Its a mile long ramp connecting to route 5. Cant be seen from the highway. There is a big barn/tent for sand/salt right next to it. I go by there often and would love to get in there again. Not sure of one on 95. Ive probably driven by it and got FHC whiplash!
LOL!!! Only two other times has a cop stopped when im getting wood roadside. One time it was a statey when i was pulled off the left side on 91 getting some fresh white oak in the median woods that had been cut by the state. I go by there often and see the decaying remnants! What is "FWIW"?
There’s maybe a few more you will see here.... wildwest is fond of KWIM.... As in.... know what I mean.... Couldn’t let that one go without explanation. FIFY is another.... take your time with that one.
Did you know you can type these sorts of “texting shorthand” abbreviations into goo goo and narrow it down right quick?
Ja know buzzsaw Brad??? cant figure out first one. Question: where on the forum is the graph for the level of wood hoarder one is? I remember seeing one when i first joined and i was a serious wood addict, but i think ive moved up in three weeks
The OFFICIAL Firewood Hoarder's Club thread!!! 1 to 3 cord = social hoarder 3 to 6 cord = wood-a-holic 6 to 10 cord = cord-hoarder 10 to 15 cord = BTU possesor 15 to 20 cord = SWA (severe wood addict) 20 to 25 cord = FBCJ (full-blown cordwood JUNKIE) 25 - 30 cord = woodpile PSYCHO. 30 - 35 cord = Firewood FREAK 35 cord - up = Cordwood CORLEONE
Got the first load this morning. I’m calling it good for the first day. Sisters gonna tag along tomorrow, it’s nice to have an extra hand. Put a little dent in the pile and scored me my first Black Gold Stuff bends the tips on my Chinese log tongs. Do some maintenance this afternoon.
Black gold, Texas tea.....I think it goes without saying I like me some locust. Been working on a 4 cord pile of black locust and red oak (3/4 of it locust) that has been stacked for 4 years.
how many more trips will you make? Having never used a trailer for wood, is that an average load or can/would you load more if it was your only trip there?
