I call it my "put-er-dare date".

 

It was a bitter cold and blowing weekend again. Life threatening in fact. This weekend a second person this year in a rural area around us was discovered frozen to death. There was another death in the northern part of the state this weekend where a person froze to death. It is truly life threatening cold! Please take weather warnings seriously.

 

A few more after a fresh 16in of snow that fell overnight.

Taken last week, glad all our woods is the garage.

 

Soon enough.... That also tells me I need to do some cutting and felling again. I'm optimally set up with my equipment for hauling when snow is in the ground. There doesn't need to be much, but even an inch or 2 of snow lets me do a lot of hauling.

 

Don’t know that I’ll ever get tired of this view. Of snow? Eventually but it sure is pretty

 

Day # 60 below +32 degrees for a daytime high, just placed under a winter weather advisory for the next 2 days and watching another system coming in for possibly tues/wed. Winter is getting old!
